ABOUT

Laylo began with a commitment to do things differently, to make swimwear that feels beautiful on your body and better for the planet. All our pieces are made from sustainable fabrics, crafted ethically, designed to feel supportive, secure, flattering, and stylish, without the weggies, the nip slips, the tiny cuts, or the loud floral prints that never felt like me. I wanted minimal, clean colour blocks; fabric that felt soft on the skin, moved with me, and let me swim, stretch, float, dive and breathe without thinking twice.

LAYLO is for women who love the sea and the simplicity it brings. For women who want swim that feels grounded and effortless, supportive enough to move with you, minimal enough to feel timeless, and comfortable enough to let you fully exhale.

Sustainability from the start

I didn’t want to create just another product or contribute to unnecessary waste.

Our pieces are made using ECONYL® recycled micro-terry, a premium regenerated nylon created from discarded fishing nets, fabric scraps, industrial plastic, and ocean waste. Through a purification and regeneration process, the waste is transformed back into its pure nylon form. Meaning it’s the same quality as brand-new nylon, but made without tapping into new raw resources.

That regenerated yarn is then knitted into our ultra-soft micro-terry fabric: plush, durable, supportive, and uniquely textured.

Made in small batches

To slow things down, we manufacture in boutique-style, small-batch production runs. This ensures quality, reduces excess, and keeps each piece intentional. Never mass-produced.
